Love life campaign
"Love your life" was the theme behind the campaign organized for the students of AIMS to convey the message that each one is responsible for their life and their country and that each one’s life is precious. It was a motivational talk by eminent personalities Nr. Brijay Krishna, Chairman&Managing Director Toyoda Gosel South India Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Suresh. R Executive Director, ToyodaGosel, Mr. Ajay Bhargav, Managing Director, Rittal India Pvt. Ltd., whose stories and their real life incidences were virtuous. A drama titled 'ARADIRALI BELAKU' was performed by Roopanthara team. The guests administered an oath to the students thatthey will be responsible for their life and the country. Students enjoyed the entire show and few of them expressed their gratitude for arranging this meaningful program on 14 February, 2020.
Workshop on Case Study Analysis
AIMS School of Business organised a Workshop on Case Study Analysis for BBA and B.Com students 0n 12 February 2020. The objective of the workshop was to enable students build analytical skills and gain conceptual understanding, encourage rigorous thinking and help students improve communication skills. The workshop was facilitated by Prof Ramesh Raj Ayer, Director-ACIL. The cases of Nestle's Maggi in India-The ban and the bounce back , Dabur- Brave and Beautiful, Cannon - simplifies print Management for Honda and Case of Vodafone were used to discuss cases, its importance, the types of cases and how to analyse the case from various dimensions. The students also analysed cases on Ethnic wear for Women in India and Nozer Mobikes:To go or not to go Public . The process also contributed to, students expressing and defending their view points and leading to best learning outcome.
Student Seminar on Union Budget - 2020
Management Club-Astrobs of AIMS School of Business organised Student Seminar and Panel Discussion on Budget 2020 on 11 Feb 2020. The students gave an overview of budget 2020 and its impact on the economy. Students presented their analysis on fiscal allocation, education, health and sanitation, job and employment, taxation, agriculture, startups and MSME, Banking and IT sector, defence, tourism and railways. The presentations were followed by Panel Discussions with experts Dr.Somanth VS, Director- MFA and Prof.Aruna BA from School of Commerce who gave a deep insight into the analysis done by the students and shared their view points on the topic.
